Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 20, 2026

You are reading the official terms of service for ranksearchnow.com. We built this site to document exactly how we push local businesses into the map pack. We share our agency data. We publish our internal processes. By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with our rules, close the tab.

Intellectual Property and Site Content

Our content takes hundreds of hours to produce. We do not spin generic advice. We build citation consistency across 50 plus directories, monitor proximity signal shifts, and publish the raw data. That data belongs to us.

Every case study, grid tracking screenshot, and optimization checklist on this site is the intellectual property of ranksearchnow.com. You cannot scrape our site. You cannot copy our case studies and claim them as your own agency results. We track our stolen content. We enforce our copyright.

You can link to our articles. You can quote short excerpts if you provide a clear, do-follow link back to the original page. You cannot reproduce entire posts or repackage our local SEO audits into your own paid courses.

No Agency-Client Relationship

Reading our articles does not make you our client. We run a dedicated local SEO agency. We take on specific clients under formal, signed contracts. Until you sign a contract and pay a retainer, you are a reader.

We owe you no fiduciary duty. We will not log into your Google Business Profile to fix your mistakes for free. If you want our direct operational help, you must hire us through the proper agency channels.

Disclaimer of Warranties

We provide information, not a magic bullet. Google updates its local algorithm constantly. The weight of an algorithm update can crush a poorly optimized profile overnight.

A tactic that drives massive phone call volume for an HVAC contractor in Phoenix might fall flat for a dentist in Chicago. We share what works for our clients right now. We do not guarantee your rankings. Your business location, your existing NAP consistency, and your current review velocity dictate your starting line. We give you the map. You have to drive the car.

This site is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional marketing advice tailored to your specific entity. If you implement a strategy and your Google Business Profile gets suspended for keyword stuffing, we are not responsible.

You own your execution.

We make no warranties regarding the uptime, accuracy, or reliability of the site. We test our methods thoroughly. We publish our findings. We do not promise that Google will interpret your website signals exactly the way they interpreted ours.

Limitation of Liability

Local SEO carries inherent risks. Competitors report profiles. Algorithms shift. Map pack layouts change without warning.

Under no circumstances will ranksearchnow.com or its operators be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our content. This includes lost revenue, lost rankings, or a suspended GBP. You apply our methods at your own discretion.

We test aggressively on our own assets before publishing. You should exercise the exact same caution. If you blindly apply a bulk edit to your primary categories and lose your map pack position, that loss rests entirely on your shoulders. If you change your Service Area Business settings and trigger a hard suspension, that is your problem. If you buy fake reviews from a shady vendor because you misunderstood our post on review velocity, we hold zero liability.

Data Accuracy and API Limitations

We publish ranking data based on third-party grid trackers and Google APIs. These APIs experience outages. Grid trackers sometimes return false positives due to localized IP shifts. We report the data exactly as we see it.

We do not guarantee the flawless accuracy of any third-party metric shared on this site. You must cross-reference our findings with your own manual searches. Always check the actual map pack from a clean browser before making strategic decisions.

Affiliate Disclosure and Third-Party Links

We use tools to track local rankings, audit citations, and monitor review velocity. When we find a tool that cuts through the noise, we recommend it. Sometimes we use affiliate links. If you click one and buy the software, we earn a small commission.

This does not change the price for you. It funds our testing. We refuse to recommend garbage. If a rank tracker fails to accurately reflect local mobile results, we drop it. We only link to software we actively run in our own agency tech stack.

We also link to external resources, Google documentation, and industry studies. We do not control those external sites. We are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices, or their sudden changes in pricing.

User Conduct and Community Standards

We encourage debate in the comments. We want to hear about your local ranking friction. We do not tolerate spam.

If you drop generic links to your own agency, we will delete them. If you post fake statistics about local search factors, we will ban your IP. Keep the conversation grounded in actual test data. Treat other practitioners with respect. We reserve the right to remove any comment or block any user for any reason.
